James Croteau graduated from St. John's University with a B.S. in Management in January of 2002. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in May of 2005.
While attending law school, James was enrolled in Hofstra Law School's criminal justice clinic, in which he worked as a student advocate representing various indigent defendants charged with misdemeanors in the County of Nassau.
James is currently an associate with the firm of Baker, Sanders, Barshay, Grossman, Fass, Muhlstock & Neuwirth. James joined the firm as an intern in his second year of law school. He has more than three years experience in all aspects of No-Fault litigation. James currently handles the firm's motion calendar in Kings Civil Court.
