The Federal government will provide a personalized benefit estimate at your request. Call toll-free 1-800-772-1213 to ask for a Form-7004, (Request for Earnings and Benefit Estimate Statement). Within four to six weeks after you complete and return this form to the Social Security office, you will receive a statement of your earnings record and estimates of your benefits for early retirement, full retirement, and retirement at age 70. The estimate will also show your disability benefits should you become severely disabled before your are eligible for fill retirement, as well as the amount of benefits payable to your spouse and other eligible family members due to your retirement, disability or death.

If you have access to the Internet, you can request an estimate from the Social Security Administration's website at www.ssa.gov . Your statement will be mailed to you within in four weeks.
